Today on the podcast I’m joined by my good Buddy Jake Hofer. Jake is one of the guys who I’ve learned a lot from when it comes to using longer-term trail camera data to plan hunts. More specifically how I approach patterning scrapes is directly influenced by Jake’s approach (and love) for scrapes. Intimately learning when and how different scrapes are being used has helped me target specific dates related to a specific scape area. The past few years, I’ve picked a specific date I’ve seen active and not surprising, I had encounters with shooter bucks in both instances. Kinda crazy to pick one date in the entire whitetail calendar…and consistently have it produce. Hope you dig the conversation – thanks for listening!
