Weekly Harvest

Happy Friday all!

One more shopping week till Christmas! I hope everyone is wrapping up their holiday preparations. I always look forward to this time of year for all the obvious reasons; family, food, and time off from work. Fortunately my office shuts down the week between Christmas and New Years. So for me this is also the time of year that I get to climb back into a treestand for some late season hunting.

I still have a buck tag and a doe tag to fill here in Pennsylvania. My plan is to hunt some evenings during my week off concentrating on food sources. One of the food plots I put in this summer I under seeded with radishes and turnips with this time of year in mind, specifically. Reports are looking good, with this cold weather it seems the deer are starting to hit the plot again. Here’s to hoping.
